Online payments are processed by PayFast.

Information required to complete the payment may be provided directly to PayFast. PayFast processes that information under its own privacy and security practices.

Oranique may receive information such as:

  • Transaction reference;
  • Payment status;
  • Amount paid; and
  • Limited payer details needed to match the payment to the order.

8. Delivery providers

We may share the information necessary to complete delivery with The Courier Guy or another approved courier.

This may include:

  • Delivery address;
  • Telephone number;
  • Email address;
  • Parcel details; and
  • Delivery instructions.

Courier providers may contact customers directly regarding delivery.

9. Website and technical providers

The Oranique website is operated using WooCommerce and related website technologies.

Information may be processed by service providers involved in:

  • Website hosting;
  • Website security;
  • Email delivery;
  • Technical maintenance;
  • Payment processing;
  • Order management;
  • Data backup; and
  • Courier integration.

These providers should only receive the information reasonably necessary to perform their services.

10. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel

Oranique does not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or similar advertising tracking tools but may introduce them in future.

Before non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are activated, Oranique should:

  • Update this Privacy and Cookie Policy;
  • Provide appropriate cookie information;
  • Implement suitable consent controls; and
  • Allow visitors to manage non-essential cookie preferences.

11. Newsletter and marketing communication

Oranique does not currently operate a regular marketing newsletter but may introduce one in future.

Customers will not automatically be enrolled merely because they place an order.

Where newsletter or electronic marketing subscriptions are introduced:

  • Customers will be asked to provide appropriate consent;
  • Marketing messages will identify Oranique;
  • Messages will include an unsubscribe option; and
  • Objections and unsubscribe requests will be honoured.

POPIA gives people the right to object to processing for direct marketing and restricts unsolicited electronic marketing except in permitted circumstances.
